Do all coupons have codes?
There are two types of online coupons. The first type requires the shopper to enter a alpha-numeric code on the checkout page in order to get the discount. The other type of coupon does not have a code to enter on the checkout page. This second type is loaded onto the checkout page automatically when you click the coupon link.
Do coupons expire?
It depends. Some merchants create coupon codes that last for years. We identify the expiration date of these coupons as "unknown" on our pages. On the other hand, many merchants create weekly or monthly coupon codes that have a specific date by which they no longer can be used.
Can you use multiple coupon codes on the same order?
It depends on the specific merchant, but for the most part you can only use one coupon code per order. Some merchants do allow this, which is referred to as stackable coupons.
Do I have to pay for a coupon code?
No. You should never have to pay to use an online coupon code. If your being asked to pay, there is something wrong.
Do I have to spend a certain amout to use a coupon code?
Most, if not all, coupon codes come with restrictions where you have to spend a certain dollar amount in order to get the discount. These terms are defined with the coupons. For example, a Take $10 off your order of $100 or more coupon will take $10 off your order if you spend $100 or more.
When do new coupon codes come out?
Each online merchant creates and owns their coupon codes. It's up to them to determine when they put out new coupon codes. As soon as a merchant creates a new coupon code, we will publish it on CouponSrc.com.
Are coupon codes case sensitive?
It depends. Some merchants make their coupon codes case sensitive while others do not. To have the most success at using coupon codes, you should enter the coupon code exactly how you see it.
What is the box that appears over a coupon code?
In trying to make it easy for you to redeem a coupon code, we have implemented a click/copy feature. When you hover over a coupon code, you will see a box that says "click to copy and go to store page". When you click that box, the coupon code is automatically copied to your clipboard and a new window takes you to the merchant's homepage. On the merchant checkout page, you can do a Control V and copy the coupon code into the specified redemption box. By doing it this way, you don't have to try and remember the code.
Can anyone submit a coupon code?
Yes. Anyone can submit a coupon code. However, we reserve the right to not publish coupon codes that belong to another coupon site or when requsted by a specific merchant.
Do all stores allow user submitted coupon codes?
No. There are some online stores that do not allow users to submit or suggest coupons for. In those instances, we disable the user submit coupon codes functionality.
